Two weeks ago I posted about a web based IDE. And said I’d continue the work. So I did. It took a bit longer than expected (I was busy) but I’ve completed the following improvements:
- added jQuery, some JS abstraction
- removed more unused code
- fixed edit field height (but promptly broke it again)
- added new file option
- added open/add: made changes detection
- added feedback bar
- folder support (opening a file in a folder loses the status though
, fix soon. ) - ctrl+s saves your file
It’s still extremely unsecured. Please use a htaccess file or another form of security which you find usefull.
You can read more about it on dippety.com! The download is also there.
