Web Development on a Chromebook (2)

Two weeks ago I posted about a web based IDE. And said I’d continue the work. So I did. It took a bit longer than expected (I was busy) but I’ve completed the following improvements:

  • added jQuery, some JS abstraction
  • removed more unused code
  • fixed edit field height (but promptly broke it again)
  • added new file option
  • added open/add: made changes detection
  • added feedback bar
  • folder support (opening a file in a folder loses the status though :-( , fix soon. )
  • ctrl+s saves your file
It’s still extremely unsecured. Please use a htaccess file or another form of security which you find usefull.

You can read more about it on dippety.com! The download is also there.
